"The Ultimate Gift"

A few years ago, Jim Stovall wrote a book entitled "The Ultimate Gift". This was just the beginning of something big. His heartfelt message of sharing what you have with others has now resulted in a movie entitled, appropriately, "The Ultimate Gift". It will be released on March 9th and stars Academy Award nominee Abigail Breslin, James Garner, Ali Hillis, Drew Fuller, and Brian Dennehy. The movie's message is just like the book, "The only way you can truly get more out of life for yourself is to give part of yourself away.” There have been more than 300 pre-screenings which have prompted over $5 million in donations to various charities. What I love about this movie is the fact that now schools are starting to convey this message into their lesson plans. It has inspired "Show of Hands", which connects teens with charities they want to support.
